Our Mission

Share Good News

Our ultimate goal is to share Good News and see communities across Canada and the world transformed. Our programming is focused on uplifting messages, family friendly music, and encouraging talk radio shows.

Support local radio

We provide resources, training, and equipment as well as coordinate leadership and volunteers to help get new local stations off the ground. Non-commercial radio provides an important platform for news, updates, and storytelling without the burden of commercial advertising.

Build up Communities

Through our broadcasts, our mission is to build up communities. We prioritize community involvement, outreach, and restoration through every program we air. Broadcasts in local languages are an essential pillar of creating culturally appropriate and inclusive content.

Our Programing

CIAM values culturally relevant programming. While much of our content is in English, we broadcast radio programs in Indigenous Languages such as Carrier, Cree, Chipewyan, French, and Low German.

Our stations also provide local, national and international news coverage as well as updated community events.

Do you have a passion for community radio?

We provide teams with training, resources, and a roadmap to starting a radio broadcast in your area.

The CIAM Radio Family

CIAM radio launched 19 years ago in Fort Vermilion, Alberta. Since then, we have grown to a community of stations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Northwest Territories – all with the same mission of bringing Good News to Canada’s people.
